The Office formulates integrated economic, social, physical and other development plans of the municipal government. It undertakes studies and a research for the innovation of municipal’s plans and programs of development. It prepares the socioeconomic profile of the Municipality based on data and statistics gathered up to barangay level.

A. Provision of Technical Information/Research

The Municipal Planning and Development Office provide technical information such as Socio- Economic Program, Development Plan, Accomplishment Reports, Comprehensive Land Use Plan, Ecological Solid Waste Management Plan, Coastal Resource Management plan, Forest Lang Use Plan and other vital documents to researchers who need it for specific/legal Purpose.
