Securing a Building Permit

  • Schedule of Availability  – Monday to Friday, 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
  • Who May Avail of the Service – Eligible Client / Filipino Citizens

What are the Requirements:

I.

  • Five (5) copies of filled-up Application Form
    (any of the following):

    • Notarized Building Permit Application Form
    • Architectural Permit Application Form
    • Structural Permit Application Form
    • Electrical Permit Application Form
    • Electronics Permit Application Form
    • Sanitary Permit Application Form
    • Fencing Permit Application Form
    • Mechanical Permit Application Form

 

  • Sign and Sealed by the Licensed Designed Professional
    • For Structural (CIVIL ENGINEER)
    • For Architectural (ARCHITECT)
    • For Electrical (PROFESSIONAL ELECTRICAL ENGR)
    • For Electronics (ECE)
    • For Plumbing (MASTER PLUMBER/SANITARY ENGR.)
    • For Mechanical (PME)
    • Fencing (CE &Ar.)
  • Five (5) copies of Detailed Estimated/Bill of Materials & Specifications of the building
  • Five (5) sets of Design Plans
  • DPWH Highway Clearance (if along the National Road)
  • Three (3) photocopies – Sketch Plan of Lot (Duly Signed by Geodetic Engineer)
  • For Two Storey Building & Above:
    • Structural Design & Analysis signed by
      Structural Engr.
    • Architectural Permit Application Form and
      Structural Permit Application Form – 2 Copies
  • For Three Storey Building & Above:
    • Structural Design & Analysis signed by
      Structural Engr. and
    • Geotechnical Investigation Report (Soil Test)

II.

  • Barangay Clearance (for Building Permit Purpose)

III.

  • Three (3) photocopies of Original Certificate of Title (OCT) / Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT),
    or Deed of Absolute Sale or (if lessee, Contract of Lease), Proof of Ownership, Consent to Construct on Lot,
    if not the Owner provide Special Power of Attorney (SPA)+
  • Three (3) photocopies -Latest Tax Clearance of Lot or Real Tax Property Receipt/Bill
  • Three (3) photocopies -Valid ID/ Identification Card of the Applicant and the Lot Owner
  • Three (3) photocopies – Community Tax Certificate (CEDULA)

For complete requirements, please submit documents first to MPDC for evaluation and get your order of payment for Locational Clearance Fees.

Proceed to Office of the Building Official (OBO) for inspection and get your order of payment

Pay at the Treasurer’s Office

 

Municipal Treasurer’s Office

Present official receipt at MPDC and in OBO/Engineering Office to get your Fire Endorsement Letter, proceed to Municipal Fire Station

Return to the OBO and present the Fire inspection Certification and all Requirements stated above for checking and receiving
